Sounds of Cyprus offers a captivating concert experience that brings the traditional music of Cyprus to life. Our performances blend authentic folk melodies with engaging storytelling, sharing the history, culture, and instruments that shape the island’s musical heritage.
Concert Programs
Our presentations are tailored to fit any venue’s needs, with two primary program options:
Art Music / Popular Music by Cypriot Composers (1.5 – 3 hours)
Folk and Dance Music by Cypriot Composers (1.5 – 3 hours)
Program length and selections are flexible to accommodate any required concert duration.
A Tradition Evolving
In addition to performing folk music in its original form, we offer contemporary arrangements that infuse Cypriot melodies with global influences such as jazz, rock, and hip-hop. These innovative renditions are performed with traditional instruments or a blend of traditional and modern instrumentation, pushing the tradition forward while honoring its roots.
